The Problem
Deploying and supporting websites requires knowledge across hosting panels, Linux servers, DNS records, SSL certificates, databases, email systems, file management, and troubleshooting workflows.
My Approach
Gained practical experience through independent hosting and deployment projects. Hosted PHP scripts, WordPress websites, and LAMP-stack applications using shared hosting and VPS environments. Managed domains, DNS records, SSL setup, email accounts, database configuration, and Apache-related settings.
Technical Decisions
Worked with cPanel for shared hosting workflows, SSH for Linux VPS access, Cloudflare for DNS/CDN and SSL-related configuration, and VPS environments for learning server administration concepts. Explored tools such as Virtualmin, Coolify, Caddy, Docker, Mailcow, and deployment pipelines.
Result
Built a strong troubleshooting foundation across hosting support, Linux server basics, DNS/domain management, SSL setup, email configuration, database setup, deployment issues, log review, backups, package updates, and documentation-based problem solving.
